I have worked with GEC on several projects located in NYC. From the filing of the job, through obtaining a C-O, Gary handled every aspect with the utmost professionalism ++. We have worked on gut renovations as well as just a quick update and modernization of multi-unit property and apartments. I never experienced a problem that we were unable to solve. GEC takes the bull by the horn and meets deadlines and budgets very well. They are a one-stop-shop, which takes running to several trades out of the equation. GEC has renovated 2 houses for us. In our Old Greenwich house, he turned our basement into a living space with bathroom. He designed and installed a new kitchen bar counter. He re-designed the living room and dining room by opening them up and made custom moldings. For our house in Greenwich, he came to the rescue when our finished basement flooded. He removed wet walls and insulation, installed a new floor and added custom made closets. He also converted our garage into an apartment with bathroom and mini bar. His design and space allocation for the open bedroom/living room was perfect. He expanded the space and installed sliding glass doors looking out on to the new patio. He designed a custom made book case with doors. He installed a small tennis court. Fixed our front stone wall and installed a white fence on top for more privacy. Custom designed a stone mail box and pillars with lights on top. He re-designed our guest bathroom and installed new toiled and wash basin and full length mirror and marble floor. In the kitchen, he removed a long wall and replaced it with a large window and relocated a cabinet. He helped me choose colors for every room in the house and installed custom moldings. He has a good eye for design and color keeping with the style of the house. He also installed lights outside and personally came by at night to ensure the lights were positioned correctly to illuminate trees etc. He managed all the renovation projects and as a result personally dealt with any challenging issues. I did not experience any problems or issues since Gary is so hands-on in supervising the work. Great design. Worked with my budget. Managed and supervised all renovation projects so I could be totally hands off once we agreed on design and price. Provided time line. Overall excellent and trustworthy!
